Kabalega Foundation in partnership with Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom is holding a year-long commemoration of 100 years of Omukama Cwa II Kabalega’s legacy (1923 – 2023).

As one of the key events to commemorate his 100 years’ legacy mark, we are organizing the inaugural Kabalega Memorial Lecture to be held on December 18th, 2023 at Kampala Serena Hotel - Victoria Hall starting 14:00 – 19:00 Hours (EAT) under the theme: “The Role of Culture in Promotion of Development – the Case of Africa

The Inaugural Kabalega Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Prof. PLO. Lumumba. He is a renowned passionate Pan-Africanist and Lawyer with varied and diverse knowledge about Africa; holder of a Doctorate degree on The Law of the Sea from Ghent University in Belgium, a founding Partner of Lumumba & Lumumba Advocates Law Firm and an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanzania, a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public, a Certified Secretary, a Certified Mediator and an author of several books in the legal and other fields. He is a leading Voice for Africa and of Africa, Founder and Chairman of the PLO Lumumba Foundation Ltd.
